Playa Tamarindo - San Juan del Sur - Nicaragua 

El Tamarindo Beach is located on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua in the coastal area of Playa El Remanso, 35 kilometers south of the town of San Juan del Sur, Rivas; Close to the border with Costa Rica.

Usually this is a beach with little touristic concurrence, but it is worth a visit.

The beaches of the south are perfect for surfing, so the tamarind beach is visited mostly by surfers who come to enjoy the practice with the rising waves.
