La Mestiza arrived with the strength, knowledge, beauty and enthusiasm of those who know how to contribute a new gastronomic experience in a place where, by nature, their food is rich, varied, full of flavor, for different tastes.

Located in ‘Calle Central Masaya’ (100 meters north of the central park), La Mestiza offers a 100% traditional Mexican cuisine with a unique touch. Two cultures twinned by people from each place and with the heart, power and willingness to contribute the best they know how to do, through the passion for gastronomy and care of a good care for those who approach their dishes.

Open since January 14, 2016, La Mestiza has become the place of preference of the public Masaya, since it has 4 different environments in one place, has met the demand for quality spaces in the city.

• Taquería La Frida: located in one of the two entrances to the restaurant. Special to enjoy some good tacos: al pastor, wire, pork roast, steak, barbecue, chicharrón in green sauce, al pastor, michoacanas carnitas, chille relleno, cochinita pibil, shrimp governor, and much more !!!
• Sports Bar Las Chalupas: space decorated with the traditional Mexican locality, air conditioned and located in the first floor with special promos in sport events. Capacity: 25 people.
• Salon La Hacienda: air-conditioned space, located on the second floor and suitable for large groups. Capacity 60 people.
• Santiago Terrace: Located on the second floor, roofed, outdoors and with an extraordinary view of the Santiago Volcano, it is one of Masaya’s favorite spaces, for its ‘Karaoke Mestizo‘ on Fridays, Saturdays of ‘Live Music‘ Sundays Of ‘Cinema a la Fresca‘. Capacity for 40 people.

Its gastronomic offer evokes many Mexican flavors mentioning some like; The pork roast, the chicken in mole, passing through the michoacanas carnitas, the tortilla soup, the chilaquiles, the veracruzanos until the panuchos, the coffee of pot, the tequila and the mezcal. The locality of Masaya in this 2016 was named ‘Cultural Patrimony of Nicaragua’ as the maximum expression of Nicaraguan mestizo, in its folklore, its history, its crafts, its custom their meals and their idiosyncrasy and it is here where La Mestiza forms part of A unique experience to visit this beautiful city.
