A storied Chef and a local Restauranteur have combined to achieve San Juan Del Sur’s most creative dishes with an essence of the local culture.

The idea of opening a restaurant was born out of several discussions with local and foreign friends who wanted to eat something different than what was offered in San Juan del Sur. We realized that we needed a place where we could eat well and enjoy good company.
In San Juan del Sur there are two very popular restaurants El Pozo and El Colibri. It has been very difficult to forget the quality and variety of their food, so in order to meet that we have created Jícaro Garden Mediterranean Restaurant, offering an original, high quality, and different product.

At Jícaro Garden, our aim is to be an upscale restaurant with quality atmosphere and service. We wish to offer the highest of standards giving the city a new concept to enjoy and share with a variety of Mediterranean food and a mix of international flavor.
