It is no coincidence that dictator Anastasio Somoza chose the place to build a seaside mansion

 now open to the public as a casino within the resort.

On the beach, in addition to enjoying the huge tourist complex, sunbathing and strolling in the idyllic tropical postcard 

you can enjoy water sports such as surfing, fishing and diving.

HOW TO GET MONTELIMAR BEACH

Getting to Montelimar is easy, you can do San Rafael del Sur or from a detour to the left of the old road to Managua-León, this last option is preferable if you come from the capital.
