Where's San Nicolás de Oriente?

The Municipality of San Nicolás de Oriente is the smallest in the department of Estelí, located 147 kilometers from the capital, Managua and 24 kilometers from the departmental head, city of Estelí.

With a fresh and pleasant climate, San Nicolás offers visitors a visit to the La Garnacha Station or the Caves of Apagüají caves inside the Tisey La Estanzuela Nature Reserve.

HOW TO GET SAN NICOLAS DE ORIENTE:

If you travel by car from the city of Estelí you have to take direction to the south (Trinidad-Sébaco-Managua) on the Pan-American highway, about 12 kilometers from the city you will find a right-hand junction duly signposted towards San Nicolás.

If you are traveling by public transport, you should take a bus at the southern bus terminal in the city of Estelí towards the municipality of San Nicolás
