Towards the north side of Playa la Flor is Playa El Coco. It is located 20 minutes from the city of San Juan del Sur, Rivas.

Playa Coco or El Coco Beach is a huge secluded crystalline beach, with calm waves and fine sand, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility and the natural environment. Like the other beaches of the area this has limits of rock formation and abundant vegetation.

Playa El Coco, has a maritime park of the same name located in the heart of the place. Also in it, you can make horseback riding, beach games, bird watching and the surrounding nature.

How to get to Playa Coco?

To get there you can do it by private transport, first you must go to San Juan del Sur, and before arriving at the entrance to the village you have to take the road that goes towards La Playa El Ostional.

You can also make the trip by public transport, this can take longer, due to the constant stops of the road. You must go to the municipal market of San Juan del Sur and from there take a bus bound for "El Ostional".
